If I only had $500 left πΈ and I had to start all over again, this is what I’d do…
Step 1: Buy the cheapest good 3D printer (BambuLab A1 Mini) - $200 π¨οΈ. Spend another $100 on packaging π¦ and filament π¨.
2: Find 3 products to sell (buy a commercial license for a few bucks π΅ or spend another $100 and hire a modeler π©βπ»).
3: Take the best damn photos πΈ and videos π₯ of the products that you can and list the items on Facebook Marketplace, Instagram, and TikTok Shop (all free! π).
4: Post a piece of content about the product every day for a week π . Donβt discount π«, donβt pay for ads π ββοΈ, and definitely donβt follow accounts that sell what you sell - follow accounts that your ideal customer follows π.
5: Treat every customer like a king π. Ship it fast π, throw in a little something extra if you can π. Even a handwritten note βοΈ goes a long way.
6: Split test everything and follow the data π. You canβt decide if your product sucks or not until youβve posted 50 videos of it online π¬. The algorithms take a while to warm up π₯. Once you have some data to work with (3 weeks in β³), drop your worst-selling item β and find a new one β.
7: Narrow down on 1 to 2 niches π― and focus all your resources on building a community surrounding that topic π€. If you canβt make content: steal it πΎ or pay someone who can π°.
8: Refine your entire process βοΈ. Cut out extra costs βοΈ and figure out how to sell more items to the same type of customer base that you already have π₯. Bundle offers π¦ and give discounts at certain price breaks π.
9: Leverage a suite of AI tools π€ to automate your entire process. Iterate constantly π and be aware of seasonality π. Double down on whatβs working β and collaborate with other brands where thereβs mutual benefit π€π€.
I didnβt say it was gonna be easy π . But if you follow these steps, you stand a good chance at creating a serious income stream on a very part-time basis β±οΈπΈ.
Iβm building a new generation of AI tools for the 3D printing prosumer market. If you want early access or free game on the 3d printing industry the links in my bio - and it’s all free π€
In un commento descrive il suo setup.
10-15USD per mask, 1.5h to print, 40 printers. But that’s just one of the many products I sell
